  • Hoping to finally get some gaming in over the next 2 days.
Sucked
  • Having to save all my cash and having nothing spare to get any new games or do practically anything I want to do. Had such an expensive start to month with car tax, insurance, wedding, honeymoon and general every day bills to pay.
  • Only one day off left then im back at work.

On the subject of that;

Rocked- Started training for a half marathon next year.

Sucked- State of Decay is starting to bore me, I will likely get Walking Dead 400 days soon to remedy this.

Working in the heat isnt great, neither is trying to sleep but much prefer this to rain and cloud all the time. Havent got much spare cash at the moment so really having to watch my spending.

Rocked: ROAD TRIP! WOOOOO!

Sucked: 35 degree heat, stuck in traffic on M25 thanks to cars smashing into each other because the sun makes people crazy. Took SIX HOURS to drive just 200 miles from Hastings to home yesterday...

Blows my mind when I hear about people dying from heat exhaustion down there when I was wearing a fleece yesterday.

Mind you, even people up here are freaking out. Just because there's sun my fellow scots does not mean there is a heat wave.

You live in scotland..... SCOTLAND! ITS always cold in scotland.

Its a bloody heat wave of epic proportion down south.

My body is used to -2 up to 6 Celsius not 25 or 35. x_x

We're getting around 25 on average lately. I think I'm just one of those people that are always cold. The British cannot handle their weather anyway. "It's snowing - OMG!" "It's sunny - OMG!" "It's a little bit windy - OMGGGGGGGGG!"

I HATE really hot weather. I remember when Jessica was born and it was 31 degrees every day for about a million years. Or two weeks, whichever was the most likely.

Thing is, the government have wittered on about how we need to insulate our homes to save energy and money - forgetting that unless the home is a new build, it can't cope with insulation and so the summer months are horrendous because the heat is all trapped inside instead of being kept out. So all the money I supposedly save on heating bills in the winter is being splurged on electric fans to keep the damn place cool during summer.

I know eh? I might be wearing a fleece during the day but during the nights...ugh. I don't know if it's the heat, or the humidity but sleeping at night has been hell after the recent insulation we've had put in. It's ridiculous. Sure, we'll save money but I'm not a fan of waking up like this every morning because of the DAMN humidity.

Last day of being up at 5am for the week and the weather has still been warm. Team Rock Radio, single handedly making my working day much easier to tolerate.

Sucked

Having to save so much cash I havent been able to purchase any games this year so far. Not having a PC to run the new Total War most definately sucks.

Got night to myself tonight to watch movies and game all night.

Sucked

Both myself and my fiancee have lost hours at work, adds up to over £6000 loss a year and leaves us struggling to pay for our wedding.

Does this mean you'll have to forego the gold-plated Jacuzzi full of whiskey?

Rocked: Booked yet ANOTHER weekend to Alton Towers for the New Year. If anyone cares (and I am pretty certain they do not) it only cost £165 for 5 people to stay, go to the waterpark, some kiddy entertainment involving puppets (and therefore paedophiles) and have a go on selected rides in the themepark.

Sucked: I can't believe we're heading well into October already...I have so much to do before December and almost no time to do it in
