I would think it's possible to just Gift the items to each others' orbs -- that's how I got the Philanthropist achievement. Fake edit: I just Googled it, and Gifting is the only way of trading, whether between orbs or co-op partners.

Hm, I've seen something like that before. I'll have to Google it. That'd help a lot; on my most recent Good hero, I manually gifted 7 million gold from a previous hero to a guest account then again to the current hero (making 140 transactions is incredibly tedious).
