i had the same issue, your doing everything right. but try sleeping for a day and then return to the door. its happened to me on like 3 different demon doors. some times they dont register you as changing to their wants. so by sleeping they reset and recognise you. give that a shot :) worked for...

sound like you corrupted your save some how. best bet would be to reset. if you need help restarting i got spare weapons and clothes and junk you can have if that helps but it sounds like your pretty much screwed :X

try transfering money between your sanctuary and the treasury for your kingdom. Happened to me at one point when i ahd about 7mil and the pile in my sanctuary was not high enough. after a few money transfers back and forth it eventualy fixed itself and balanced out properly. give it a shot?
