Yeah.. If the sea swallowed Knothole, Hookcoast and a chunk of the Nortern Wastes Albion should've become smaller, not the other way around

No need for them to be swallowed. Not neccesarily. Those areas are all places that could easily have their sizes exaggerated due to crappy cartography. They could be flooded, and the rest of the world could be somewhat unaffected.
