It's more than 200 years, i think it's a minimum of 500 because

when you leave his house via the rear passage, there is a door open and he says something like "Oh...When was that opened? Oh yes, it was 300 years ago when Mary tried to burn down the house with me still in it"

The fact that he is the one who sold out Oakvale is fact and not really up for argument, you hear it in the stories and if you take the time to listen to Reavers Diary (found in the bloodstone manison after purchase) it will all be very clear and not much of a surprise seeing as Reaver is an arse.

Honestly, if there ends up being any TLC-esque downloadable content (you could roughly translate the three of them as being like Thunder, Rose, and Weaver/Guildmaster) even though my first character was good (not so much the next two) I am taking the chance and killing him for reasons other than simply Oakvale. Why?

Pshaw, the only thing Barnum gives you is 15001 gold, which you could make in five minutes, and a thesarus.

Anyways, Oakvale was weak, and all it was to me in the first game was the town where I created massacres every second day, so that didn't affect me much.

Barnum didn't deserve to die at all. He is one of the few nice NPCs there are. If I had to choose a loyal friend, it'd be Barnum.

I love Reaver and if I needed a partner it would be either him or Garth. Of course i'd be ready to counter-betray Reaver because you never know when he might want to sell you -.- But Garth is ver strusty, and as for Hammer... YEAH RIGHT... Don't even get me started
