Re: Unconditional Love

That would be pretty neat, get free stuffs.

But that would also mean your son/daughter could be a failure! Like that beggar being bullied in Fable.

If that is the case then toss them to the Balverines and be done with them. None of my children will be failures!

I think the title refers to how your children feel about you... if they want to be suckers fine, but I don't have to

Re: Unconditional Love

If they didn't allow you to kill children in Fable, why would it change in Fable 2?

Re: Unconditional Love

Oh and if it were unconditional love, it would obviously mean you for your child, not your child for you, because that wouldn't really be normal.

... there is a difference between tossing your kids aside and killing them...

Re: Unconditional Love

True, but still its just like that Escort the Traders quest. You have an option to escort that infected trader, and if you choose to put him aside you get evil points.

who said you have to love your kid? as I said the thread is referring to your child's love for you... nothing says I have to love them...

Re: Unconditional Love

I reckon the title means that YOU have to love your kid.

Also, Lucien is able to kill your kid and wife, but if you don't love them then whats the point.

NO... the feature involves your children having unconditional love for you... that's why they try to copy your actions and alignment... nothing says anything about me feeling a thing... how could they promise how I'm going to feel?
and the point in what?

Re: Unconditional Love

Yeah it was said you could eat food in front of your starving child and he would beg at your feet for it. that doesn't sound like no love for the child.

Harsh. I could just see some fat old villain, instead of being legendary for killing sprees, is legendary for being a crappy parent... hmmmm.
