Messing around with my Dragon buds
Does anybody remember playing Fable One? I do; late nights with all the sandwiches I could eat... good days...

Would you pay $60 for a Fable One Remake for the 360? With better graphics and smoother operations, and everything but keeping to Fable One. It would come with the Lost Chapters, the expansion, and a new DLC called the "Dragon Armor".

I reckon this is the wrong place for such discussion.

Why? It's a Fable discussion forum.

I wouldn't pay $60, but I would pay $19.99.

If it came with TLC I'd buy it, but not for $60, or £40 as it is over here. I'd go as high as £30, but any higher really isn't worth it for a few upgrades, I have the original and plan on getting TLC so it'd just be a waste of money.

i know on the Games on Demand they have it for like 1600 micro-points. I need to get Fable and TLC so I can replay em but cant find a damn gamestop here that has it

Try ebay, there's some reasonably priced ones on there, don't bother with the GoD one, it's good, but with TLC out the feeling that you're missing so much more will be niggling at you constantly...Hence why I'm buying TLC as well as having the GoD Fable. xD

so does the TLC Fable come with the original story line plus the TLC kinda like Fable II game of the year edition? or Should/Do I need to buy both?

Yea, it contains both. You play through the original storyline(which has some new armor and other stuff)and then it just has another mini-storyline, so the game doesn't end when you kill Jack of Blades the first time. Of course this is for Xbox though dude, so if you're using a PC/Mac I don't know if it's the same.

i would probably pay 60 if it came with the glowing trail that Fable 2and 3 have.lol
If the hypothetical Fable I remake was the exact same size and terrain as its original with only improved graphics, then the golden trail would be a bit useless.

Dont do PC/Mac games sorry. Ok cool thx for the information.
The Fable: TLC for the PC is the exact same thing as the xbox version, except that you have more hotkey slots to work with. Also, it runs more smoothly on my PC than it does on the xbox, and my PC is actually a bit old [it was considered good by 2005 standards, which is when I built it]. The PC version of Fable: TLC is superior.

I doubt it. I like the original graphics of Fable I, and if the remake made my character look like I had gigantism with my strength skill maxed, certainly not.

I wouldn't. Fable TLC is fine how it is, and any attempt at remaking it would just be a desparate cash grab from Lionhead's point of view.

Look forward, not back.

I'm not going to lie; I would buy it. If it had the enhanced graphics, customization, combat, and overall gameplay of Fable 3, there would be an extreme amount of potential for it to be better than Fable 2 and 3 in my eyes.

I would have been content if the visuals stayed the same and Lionhead just made another disc's worth of bonus content to keep us playing. Would almost certainly cost less and take less development time than working on Fable IV and keep the old fans happy.
