Why is he popular? Do people find him funny?
I dont get it, he is obnoxious, acts like a stupid drug addict in many movies, and he cant make any of this into something that makes me laugh

The poll should read "Is Seth Rogen Funny?".
 
I've never seen a movie he was in.

So.... iunno.
 
he was in knocked up, superbad, funny people, and I think the hangover.
 
Well maybe he acts like a dumb drug addict in most of his movies because he plays a dumb drug addict in most of his movies.
 
I quite like him. He's really funny, in a wierd way, as in, IMO he seems natural while acting.
 
as an actor, i think he's overrated. but as a screenwriter he can be pretty brilliant. superbad is one of the funniest films of the past decade, and he started writing it (with evan goldberg) since they were what, like 15?

he isn't out of place as an actor in funny movies...it just isn't the source of why he's funny.
 
Hmm, I voted yes, but then I saw that fourth option. I never end up voting before I see all the options, not sure why I did it here. Could a mod change my vote? :steve: I do so love him. He's an awesome writer, and I end up laughing at nearly everything he does. He's one of my favorite actors/comedians/writers. I proudly own Superbad and Pineapple Express.

I think they were 13 when they started, but it gets the same point across. And I'm not sure how old they were when they started writing Pineapple Express, but they were working on it as high school students.
 
Ive enjoyed quite a few of his movies, also he seems to play a role hes comfortable doing and he does it well.
 
I don't think he's a great actor, but he is one hell-of a writer of comedy.

I fooking love him, he's amazingly funny.

He's kinda funny. Never heard a gag from him and though "Wut teh fork" so yeah, he's good.
 
I think he's pretty damn funny.
 
And this is the Seth Rogen gene, which gives you the appearance of being funny even though you didn't actually say anything that was funny.

He's kinda funny. I'm more of a Will Ferrell fan, but I didn't mind Pineapple Express (even though it had the potential to be a way better movie).

I saw him on Letterman and he had the most annoying laugh. Also, it didn't help that he thought that he thought everything was funny.
 
Will Ferrell is ****ing hilarious.

Just sayin'.
 
Will Farrell's gone a little downhill, especially with Stepbrothers.
 
I wish desperately that Will Farrell would do more dramatic acting. He was spectacular in Stranger Than Fiction and it makes me sad that he hasn't really done more than that.
