Well then continue with the fanfiction. Even if it's fanfiction and that's based on something. It doesn't mean it's not original. you created ure one view of the franchise and did a good job at it.
Maybe somehow you can borrow his concept and mold it into something greater?
same with me and fanfiction, I couldn't pull off a fanfiction if my life depended on it. I'm into dark/sad poetry. But you can always try to mix in ure emotions with what ure writing if you feel like you that way.

Honestly? Feel like crap - but in about 5 weeks time it should all be over and I can hopefully start feeling better. Can hardly walk now which is a bitch because I'm pretty much housebound now with no pain relief permitted and my anaemia means I'm too tired to do anything anyway. Blah.
