Yeah. Just average, run of the mill.

I am invincible thanks to my shield and potions.

One visit to the arena later.

I glow blue.

Ah, the magic that was Fable 1... *drifts off into a nostalgic stupor*

Re: Acer Aspire 6930

Processor is alright for a laptop. It's dual core, which is good, but the chances are that you'll never really use the whole capacity of the RAM with a processor like that. 2GHz is rather small for a spec like that. Graphics are very bad though, integrated graphics... *shudder*. You'll only be able to play the simplest of games.

4GB of DDR2 looks good to me, I have the same spec on my desktop PC.

Overall, it's alright. But if you're after gaming, it's useless.

EDIT: Just noticed something. Your laptop screen's resolution is 1366x768, yet in game you're only using 1024x768. Have you tried increasing the resolution in the Video Options and trying the performance then?

Re: Acer Aspire 6930

1366 makes games look realistic, but it chops off up to 10fps in games. Your right, its ****ty for gaming, but it still is my gaming laptop.

I can't play brand new games on high. Brand spanking new games have much difficulty, but tend to play on low quite nice.

Fable runs okay in 1366 but I tend to play 1024, it looks nice, and runs well.

I wish I had 3ghz, then this would probably play newer games on medium.

Re: Acer Aspire 6930

No it wouldn't, the gaming is almost primarily to do with the graphics. Having the new processor might make the FPS slightly smoother, but it won't be able to play in higher graphics.

Re: Acer Aspire 6930

Who cares about graphics? When's the last time a game's graphics stopped you from playing it?

You sound like an old man. Graphics improve quality. Quality improve fun.

I find it hard to fully enjoy old PS1 games (with a few exceptions) with one of the main reasons being is because of the sh*tty graphics.

Only the quality of the visuals. The actual gameplay is much more important. Otherwise I would just watch a movie.

And I can appreciate good graphics as much as the next guy, but it's hardly the most important thing.

Since 2008 almost every new game has demanded a LOT better graphics than what his integrated graphics is capable of. I agree with you, but if he plans to use it for gaming, it simply won't be capable of what he requres.

It doesn't just improve quality. It improves framerate, how it looks, and if you can play the game properly or not.

Damn, ignorance up in this b*tch.
