It would look cool, and many new users would think, oh this is cool, and I've been here for a while (I think about 2 1/2 years now?) and I think it would be cool. There may be some people who don't like it so then maybe they could be neutral or have the option to turn extras off.
Of course there is also the point that it matches with fable 3, the whole weapon thingy.
Maybe it could read your alignment, your post count, rep, and your gamerscore and it would morph accordingly instead of rep and post count bars.
I think that could be neat.
Also the titles could change color according to algnment.
red=evil
gray=neutral
blue=good
or something along those lines?
I would at least like for alignment to mean something other than one extra stat.

Want to tell me why it was unrealistic, gimmicky and stupid? You told James to counter your points, but quite frankily you don't have any. It's probably just the grudge you have against me because you can't let things go. You poor soul.

I'd reply to your silly little post but JohnDoe already replied better than I could.
Looks like you left your maturity at home. There's a line between exciting and cool and just plain gimmicky, and this crosses the line towards a silly little gimmick that wastes time to be developed and just doesn't do anyone any favors. Now, I like things to look cool, but why should PE waste his time with this if it holds no purpose?James Butts;399113 said:

well i think this has gone far enough. those who approve have stated, and those who don't have as well.
the only thing i could think of which would further benefit this thread would be people posting other ways to integrate alignment or other reasons for it to remain nonexistent.
all that's really left to happen, that aside, is for steve to read the whole thread, take into account the various ways we've come up with, and read the reasons why not that have been posted thus far.

So he doesn't whine at me for not addressing the rest of his points...
The good/evil thing is there for the sake of it as it is, but where it is, it's doing no harm and takes up almost no space or processes. But adding more to such a useless feature just seems like an utter waste of time.
The colored names are for certain members to be distinct due to their contribution to the website. The staff members, the members that help post news, the members that help and contribute with mods, and so on. Just having them based on alignment will both confuse and ruin the object of colored names in the first place.

And how would you manage that? Plus, how would you do that in a way that matches the site as it is? The website has a specific style, and all these clashing colors will ruin the style of the website itself.James Butts;398890 said:
