Honestly, I'd settle for just being f*** buddies.... I think. I'd be fake, sure. She'd actually not care for me in the end.

But some of us prefer illusion to despair...

Would you really be satisfied with that? Illusions can only take you so far before reality sets in, you're banging her but there's no mutual emotion, personally I find that takes away from what makes love making and sex so special. Like me and Drakan said earlier, keep her as a friend, but don't be hesitant to look elsewhere. The future is never certain and you might be surprised what you manage to find out there.

I've been there enough to know how much it sucks, but compared to the alternative, it's the better option.
