No, a good computer prank is changing your Professor's screen saver to softcore gay porn just as he is about to have a big lecture using a projector. Just leave that PC alone for less than a minute and BLAM! A wall full of gay porn. Like this.

A good computer prank would be taking a screenshot of your computer illiterate friend's desktop and setting it as their background before removing their icons. Next time they turn it on and try clicking on an icon, they'll think it's frozen.

I like setting a picture of a broken computer screen as someone's backgriund and removing everything. To make it even more believable, if your friend has a laptop barrow it then when your coming to get it back from him act like you trip and fall with the computer.
