...probably the only thing i would bother to capitalize...i f***ing love that city

other similar bands from there include: the shins, elliott smith, the decembrists, modest mouse, and everclear.

Yea, Counting Crows are one of my favorite bands. And Cold was kind of forgotten after Stupid Girl, nonetheless it was a great song.

Been a while but i used to own some Chevelle albums after their tour with Disturbed.

I haven't listened to Chevelle in five years. I fear listening to it now will reawaken the long-dead thoughts and feelings that I had at the time.

There are some bands i had like that, that i associate with some bad times but if your in a good place in life now you will find they are nothing more than good songs. Helped me have closure on that part of life when i re-listened to them.

i know the feeling. i can't handle downer songs if i'm depressed...on the other hand, if i'm not, the very same songs become my absolute favorites.

it's incredible just how much music can change in relation to your mood...or even change your mood. gentle acoustic songs ease you out of being upset, while a hard rock song can push you from being really tranquil to ready for action.

Edited the Oomph! song to a different one by them. And I added a few new ones :3!
Edited the Counting Crows to a new one.

My knowledge ends here, however - I know the others, but don`t know their music that much.

Nothing for me in this list. I think Rise Against might go in some circumstances.
Coldplay is oddly one of the bands I don`t like at all... as in "don`t like", not just "meh".
