Anyone here bilingual?

I'm after the name for a ship. I want to call it something in Arabic, or some other sexy sounding language.

If anyone here can, I'd like so know what Swift Justice is in Arabic.

I'd do it online, but I can't read the Arabic alphabet

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

"Keadilan Cepat" = Swift Justice

"Keadilan Keras" = Hard Justice

"Sedih Askar" = "Forlorn Warrior"

"Sedih Pahlawan" = "Forlorn Hero"

This is all in Bahasa Melayu, the language spoken in Malaysia.

It's hardly sexy, but I suppose it's my form of input. ^_^

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

It's all very interesting, but it doesn't really suit what I'm trying to do. It needs to sound cool, but have a good meaning behind it.

Also, I probably should have clarified, it's for a spaceship.

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

I'm pretty sure science has proven that names in Norse mythology make the most awesome starship names. Like Thor. Or if you wanna snazz it up, Thor's Hammer or Hammer of Thor.

Padawan?! So... what does Jedi mean, then?

Mjolnir!

Yeah, but I can't use Norse or Greek names for stuff. I want to use this for a space "simulation" game, and all those are taken for other types of ships.

My personal fighter is currently called the Darksyde, but that's sort plagiarising a show I used to watch. I'm happy with the name though. What I want is a name for my Frigate, which is currently called the Black Pearl, but I don't feel right using that name.

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

It's called X3: Terran Conflict, although it's actuall the fifth game in the series. It's really good if you like huge expansive sci fi games.

Yeah, I got hooked on Sins of a Solar empire for about a month before school started and I no longer had time to play games. Haven't heard of that one, though.

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

It's seriously one of the best games I have ever played, and is head and shoulder's above the rest in it's genre.

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

I've called my new ship Vorpal*, because the name of the model is called the Scimitar.

I'm still after something really cool sounding for my flagship, when I save up enough money.

*I fear Walker may be the only one to understand this reference off the top of his head.

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

Yeah, the only thing about the ship though.... It doesn't go snicker-snack.

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

I know, but it's hard to make lasers go snicker-snack. They go more like: Pew pew pew!
