I'm pretty sure science has proven that names in Norse mythology make the most awesome starship names. Like Thor. Or if you wanna snazz it up, Thor's Hammer or Hammer of Thor.

Approved by Stargate series.

woah, damn those are small, reading from right to left, (note i wont be able to put vowels since they are actually part of the consanants and arent actually written on the text) the a characters are a, l, j, a, n ,b, a, l, m, zh, l, m, for the first one. Note that the a is usually silent and isnt necessarily an a sound.
the second one is, l,m,h*,a,k,m,t(h),a,l,s,r,y(b),a*,t(h),
third one
l,m,h*,l,r,b,a,l,b,?,d,t(h)

ok, the h with the * is an h but is pronounced from the throat with like from where you breath. the a with the * is kinda like it except its a very hard voice. i put a t with an h because if you stop there at the t it becomes h but if you continue it becomes a t. and i put the y and a b because i actualy couldnt tell which one it was too small. the b has one dot on the bottom the y has two. and the ? was there because it was too small for me to read. I couldnt tell if it was a w, or n, or f, or anything.
sorry i couldnt get vowels, if you could like get the arabic with the extra vowel indicators, (like in the quran, where they look like slashes and stuff) if you find them, the slash on the top means a. like for example, a+a=a, t+a= ta.and the slash on the bottom is an e. pronounced ee. like bee. and the one that looks like a small w on top is a sound connector. meh i cant get too into it. if you find ones like that i can give you perfect sound of it

wait, what word did u type in to the translator? i can look in my arabic to english dictionary or ask my dad or something. well the arabic to english dictionray is probably the same way as this.

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

Yeah, sorry about the small formatting. I tried to make them larger in word, but it didn't really work.

Umm, from memory it was Swift Justice and Forlorn Warrior. I can't remember what the second one means.

And too be honest, that really made no sense to me at all. Thanks for the effort though, it really means alot.

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

Well, Mjolnir is supposedly the name of Thor's hammer, and as I said, it's already taken by a ship model.

What's a Nortaloi?

You haven't seen League of Extroadinary Gentlemen? Its like the best movie with SHean Connery! Nortaloi is I think the 'Sword of the Ocean'

I have seen it, and it's a great movie, but it was a while ago.

Nortaloi was Nemo's ship?

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

I thought Nautilus was common knowledge?

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

I'm busy smashing my head against a brick wall here.

Nemo's boat was called the Nautilus. Don't know why I felt the need to reiterate that.

The movie on whose quality I will not comment added a little lifeboat-pinnace-small boat-type thing it called the Nautiloid.

Out of curiosity, Rotid, does that mean that you read the sequel to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (or prequel or whatever, I don't remember) or that you read the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comics?

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

I thought of calling my ship Corsair, which was the Spanish word for Privateer if I'm not mistaken.

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

Iunno. I always thought "corsair" was an English word for "pirate." Maybe a certain kind of pirate or something, but it's definitely a word in English.

I think.

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

A corsair is a private sailor licensed by a government to attack enemy ships and coasts.

Basically, mtfing government pirates.

Re: Anyone here bilingual?

Yeah, I knew it had something to do with pirates and privateers.
