Are they in your head, too?

Advertising is insane. Companies will do anything they can even to get you to think about their product a little bit longer. For example, I was driving to San Francisco one time, and I saw an advertisement for an ipad on a billboard. On the way back, I saw the same advertisement, except this time, the ipad on the billboard was white instead of black. I'm suspecting Apple did this just to get people to say to themselves, "hmm, the ipad was a different color on the other side of that billboard," thus making you think about their product just a tiny bit longer.

As for me, I am effected by advertising, but not in the way companies want me to be effected. I always associate ads with deceit because of the deceptive tactics that are used in getting people to buy the product on the ad. Because of that, I get irritated whenever I see an ad, so I try to avoid buying whatever was on the ad.

Internet ads are too annoying to be effective.

Especially the ones that are effectively .gifs.... trying to watch porn and BAM, some man is showing you pictures of his knob he grew 6 inches in two days... I just get cellotape and put it over the screen, it helps.

Someone was going to post it. I wanted it to be me.

But if you get rid of ads, won't that stop the owner(s) of the site from getting money from the people they place ads for? Because they often need to money to sustain the website?

on the internet i often wonder if advertising is as effective as on tv. on tv a good advertisement will grab your attention, get your mind going, then BAM! they mention a product while you're both looking and thinking about everything they've said so far. the internet is different though. it seems like half the time they're just asking you to see if you can shoot all three ducks or saying you've won 1,000,000,000 bucks. hell, most of the time i have no idea what the ads actually for since it's exactly like just about every other. most of the time i just do everything i can to get through the mountain of popups and expanding ads (GOD those are annoying) to get to what i want...so maybe the two aren't so different after all?

Often on TV the commercials are indeed enticing, but at the end I forgot what product it was for. They're putting more and more effort into the commercials, and less into presenting the product.

Does your vag itch?? Does your vag smell disgusting? Do you need a softer tampon or a bigger douche? Do you have a mental disability called vag that you need prescription medicine for so you can function properly?

Those are like 50% of ads I see anywhere nowadays. I now I'm supposed to accept that part of life but goshdamn it disgusts me.
