Yes you should because I'm never going to get to play them until we either replace the ps2 or get a ps3 that will play them.

Just buy a cheap slimline PS2, can pick one up for dirt cheap now. Better than waiting and forking out for PS3, im sure there wont be many games from PS2 that you would still want to play by time you get a PS3.

Before you buy a new PS2, make sure the old games are still purchasable. It's the most frustrating thing when you get a new one and the games have become corrupt.

When My PS2 broke, I was annoyed because I couldn't play my games. When I got a new PS2, I still couldn't play my games because the games broke as well.

Ok, Over-Exaggeration. The GAME I wanted to play broke. Thats why I said make sure they're still purchasable, because she just wants to play Crash and GTA...

Then why not just say that?

Plus theres no reason why games should randomly break when you get new console so in theory if any games were to break it would have happened already and wouldnt have anything to do with getting a new console. Plus the fact they dont even have a working PS2 right now so unless they want aload of working games but no console to play them on they havent really got a choice
