Michael-Fassbender-cast-in-Assassins-Creed-Movie.jpg
Apparently a movie adaptation of the highly acclaimed Assassins Creed series is in the works and Bafta-nominated actor Michael Fassbender has signed up to star in and co-produce the movie. Ubisoft announced the news yesterday in an official statement after revealing that they are developing the Assassin's Creed movie by themselves after talks broke down with Sony last year. They havent as yet revealed which time period/character the movie will be based on.
Their previous flop Prince of Persia which reportedly had a budget of $200 Million and was critically panned, and only made $335 million (£215 million). Ubisoft regretted their lack of creative input in the film. They are now seeking a director and may still partner with a major studio to distribute Assassin's Creed and are set to use in-house production studios to create visual effects for the movie, in a bid to save costs.

Could be very interesting, M.F. is a very good actor, and the film could have some very good potential, hopefully its done well though, as most films from games tend to be pretty crap tbh.

"Only made $335 million."

Makes it sound like that's a bad thing, $200 million budget vs. a $335 million gross... that's a $135 mil profit. I wish I could make $135 million.

Not going to get my hopes up on this movie being any good, though stranger things have happened..

Mmm, Michael Fassbender... I approve. Deeply.

More like ASSbender amirite?

....

Moving on, an Assassin's Creed movie has the potential to be interesting because like the games they have essentially go back to any time in human history and base the movie around that.

I liked the Prince of Persia movie. ;-;

I like Michael Fassbender and his versatility, he is also great at different accents.
