Augment help

i just got a new weapon to put augments on with two augment slots. but my problems is that i have two augments that both have the effect (do more damage and take less) do the effects add up?

Re: Augment help

I don't think so, doesn't hurt to try though.

Re: Augment help

They don't add up, you're wasting space.

Re: Augment help

Thought so. Would be sweet if you could though.

Ya it would.

Try finding one with a similar effect. Soem of the augments do the same basic things just with minor add-ons or differences. Like one for a skill booster and one with a strength and skill booster, etc.

Re: Augment help

There's a lot of augments in Knothole Island that are pretty good.

Re: Augment help

yup, then add in the fact that you can get master weaps with 4 aug slots.. a total of 8 effects

Re: Augment help

I'm fairly certain they don't stack, or I've noticed no significant difference as a result. It gets tricky to place them sometimes too, especially with the better Knothole ones. I guess the only way to test is to put say... a Luck and Skill augment and a Luck and Life augment (or two other augments that are different but share one effect) in the same weapon and test. Do one with both, and another with only one, and see which is better. Naturally one is going to heal you, which is a bonus, but look to see if one takes down enemies any faster.
