I hate it when films bring out TV series related to the film. I don't know why, it's just that for me it's like someone's come along and zapped a good film with the Turd-o-lyser. Strange analogy, but it just makes it seem all budget and tacky to me when people do that.

How the hell can there be a sequel to THE LAST Airbender? They should rename the original series

Aang is the last Airbender... The girl planned to be in the new series is from the Water Tribe.
And to anyone thinking this is about the James Cameron film - think before you type.

I think it would be good. I liked the first series a lot, and I think this one could be just as good.
As far as the movie goes; it wasn't as bad as everyone said. Yes it is a live action movie based on a cartoon, yes they get every pronunciation they possibly could wrong, but if you look passed that, it was pretty good. The special effects were spectacular.
I like the Avatar series, and I will probably watch this... although I may just buy the whole thing on dvd to avoid actually watching nickelodeon....

The sieries should rot and die. It was awful to begin with and now with a whole new story line that to me makes no sense, why? Squeezing the frantize dry because nick toons got ****? Yeah. Gay.

Millions..... of children, yeah. Not anyone else whose kinda over the age of cartoons, excluding the good ol cartoons that were made a long time ago like Bugs Bunny and Road Runner etc, but it's kinda funny if someone over the age of 13 is watching Avatar of all shows. I'd feel bad for that person.
