Avatar: The Movie

Re: Avatar: The Movie

My first 3d film was Spy Kids 3D. Such a regret. I was 10 or something.

Oh god you saw that as well. I will never get the little thumb scene at the begginning.

Re: Avatar: The Movie

I saw Avatar 3D yesterday. It was my first 3D experience and I think the movie was great.
The plot was pretty bad in my opinion, but the impressive visuals made up for it.
If something can be described as epic, it`s Avatar.
I give it a solid 9/10.

same, coraline was unbelievable in 3d. one of the few movies that not only was very good by itsself, but that i felt the 3d really added to the movie experience rather than adding on. +rep for the coraline mention.

Re: Avatar: The Movie

The action took too long to kick in. It was only towards the end of the film that it started getting fun to watch. I still loved it though.

+ 3D was sh*t. It was very up in your face. Like they made sure you KNEW it was in 3D.

I hope they don't make a second one.

Why didn't you like the names? They actually created a whole language for the Na'vi, just like they have done for most Star Trek races, which is all geeky and awesome.

I don't like star wars for some reason so I can't tell what I think 'bout their names.
Only reason I didn't like them is cause it was hard for me to memorize does
names.
So when they were talking about something and saying all does strange names
I didn't have a clue what they were saying.
That's probably just me, everything else was great

Re: Avatar: The Movie

Star Wars is the ****. Sure, the new ones are only there to put more money into the fat pockets of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, but they're still good.

Re: Avatar: The Movie

^ I lolled, but that was just unnecessary. Plus endless rep from me to the first person that can master the Na'vi language.
