I would like to see a more smart, main boss then a powerful boss. I'm thorugh with JoB, I aint gonna lie. I always liked the idea of a boss being just so smart, that he doesn't need to do anything to recieve total power and war. and once you face him, he'll already be ready to fight.

Well JoB was one of the biggest letdowns in any boss fight ive ever had on any game, he was so weak it was laughable. Boss of Fable 2 needs to be at least a challenge.

Re: Bosses.

I reckon he should have had more stages, like the White Balverine fight.

More stages and generally made most of the apparent 'Boss' fights tougher as none were really challenging. Aswel as more stages, more environments and also give the bosses more attacks and freedom.

Re: Bosses.

I tell you what would have been awesome:

If Jack had a huge amount of health as a human, and every time you take away certain amount of health a cutscene would occur showing Jack killing someone stealing their soul. After the cutscene he would be stronger, as well as have more skills.

Re: Bosses.

When some people say challenging, they say,"Oh yea, button mashing!"

I always liked using the enviorment as an advantage. And really show how hard the boss is. Say the boss is a aquatic guy, and your in a large lake. Say thelake magically dries up at some points. You could get out of the water onto shore, and shoot the enemy with arrows.

I want more strategy in Fable games, rather than how fast you can press the A button, you know?

Re: Bosses.

Definitely. Well I found the first fight with the golem on my first guy in the Trader's Escort quest quite challenging. Of course I still had the Oak Longbow the guild gave me.

I had to hide behind one of the rocks and snipe it.

I agree, there needs to be more strategy involved and maybe some sort of neat moves you can throw together and not just basic hack and slash style. The whole basic system needs a lot more depth.

Re: Bosses.

Well I liked how they put you in a part of the game with no weapons and you have to learn what to do.

Definitely agree! If there was one thing that Fable lacked, it was strategy. About the environment and using it as an advantage, I would hope that your surroundings make it more difficult so that it would make the fight more of a challenge, than just doging attacks and things like that. Yeah, I don't want to press that damn button all the time cause it makes your fingers hurt, but normally that's hwo it was in Fable. The more you pressed that button ythe more damage you inflicted, which shouldn't be the way it works, like you said.

Maybe the boss fights should have a timer set and you would have to go through multiple stages in a matter of minutes, like the minions during the Rescue the Archeologist quest. Maybe it would make things more difficult and a little more stressful, depending on the situation.

Re: Bosses.

There was SOME strategy. You couldn't just go up and slash Twinblade or the Scorpion in the arena, if you know what I mean.

But that wasnt strategy they made the same moves over and over you just had to wait. It was a lazy mans attempt at spicing the fights up a tiny bit, but instead it made them boring and predictable.

Re: Bosses.

It was technically strategy. Just a not very hard one.

Id say it was technically laziness that required no effort or thinking of any kind and bored me to death.

Re: Bosses.

It's a boring strategy :ninja:

I would like to see alot more stealth as well.

The single most underused feature of Fable, it was there but didnt really have much of a point. They need to add Stealth kills in more than anything for those of us who want to slaughter people unseen and swiftly from the shadows before moving onto the next victim.

Re: Bosses.

I would like to fight a blind enemy. Would be interesting.

"I`ll kill you, Hero!"
*trying to charge towards you but fells out of the window:D

Re: Bosses.

Lol.

But seriously, if he was blind but huge and pumped, and you would be screwed if he even realised where you are, Stealth would have to come into use.

Re: Bosses.

I'd laugh if you'd have to fight some blind guy, but who knows, it could very well happen. Probably be the most enjoyable boss fight...or the worst, depends I suppose.
