Another problem in my opinion (I might just be talking out of my ass, but it seems this way often for people I know.) is that people who hate a bill are more likely to vote against it, while people who are in favor don't seem to have as much passion in going out and voting.

At this point changing the political system won't solve anything, the problem is, we're human, and there's way too many of us. I'm hoping for a pandemic or zombie apocalypse, just something to thin the herd, then maybe we'll be able to change something.

Why is everyone always so quick to say that humanity is a blight on the Earth? As far as humanities evolution goes, we're just reaching our adolescence. Once we mature as a species everything will be alright.

I'm not saying every single individual human is worthless or anything like that, but at this point "blight" may be an accurate description. I would never say humanity is bad, but too much of anything can be a damaging situation, I'm just saying that's the situation as I see it now. Do I really want a zombie apocalypse? No lol.

Oh, and in my opinion we are unprecedented as a species, there is no reference point for humanity as a species, we are absolutely and tragically unique. But it sure is exciting isn't it?
