C.o.D. World at War beta

I just got the Call of Duty World at War beta key last night and just let me say that it is shaping up really well. I've already ranked up to around 15 and I've been enjoying every bit of it. Treyarch is defiantly doing a great job. My only complaint is with the snipers as they are on bolt action rifles and the scope is just an attachment meaning if you wanted a bayonet on it, you would need to sacrifice the scope.

I have it, and it is doing well, the only problems right now that can be easily fixed is that damned Roundhouse glitch!!! And those people who take advantage of the spawn system and spawn camp. I spawned in front of the same guy 6 times in a row. Yeah, six times. And the fact they put a limit to how fast you can shoot the M1 Garand, because of people who complain about modded controllers, so people who can shoot fast legitimately get screwed over. but all in all, it is excellent, and it is VERY gory if you pay attention to the dead bodies that suffer from explosions. It is well done.

one thing about the post i thought you couldnt get higher then 11? thats what i am and everytime i go into a match everyones 11 just saying :D

I am at 24, that is the cap. They updated it and added hardcore team deathmatch and search and destroy.

Is it just like C.O.D 4 by any chance? Like smallish maps? semi like Counter Strike?

Its like COD4 in world war 2 with new things perks, and stuff...

Hmmm.. I guess it will be Alright then.. I wanted to be a bit more Open.. more like Bad Company.. BUUT they are two differnt games so you cant compare them..

Ohwell I liked COD4 so i will like this!

Excellent, my favourite game mode on COD 4. Havent been able to try the Beta yet as the official site was having technical difficulties.

The game is really fun with hardcore modes added on. I really want to try out the mines but I forgot to check what level you unlock them at. I'm not even sure if you could try them in the beta.

Nice to see people are enjoying the game and hopefully it receives some good scores and ends up near the quality of COD 4.

I haven't managed to get my hands on a Call of Duty: World at War Beta key but I watched a hi-def video of a Search & Destroy game on YouTube yesterday and I can honestly say that I am really looking forward to playing this when it's finally released. I was really put off when I heard that it was returning to a WW2 setting but just from the footage I saw yesterday, I am already eating my words. The molotov cocktails look like a nice touch, too! :P

I'll be pre-ordering myself a copy of CoD:WaW nice and early this time (I didn't buy Call of Duty 4 until, like, 6 months after it had originally been released) and making my way up to Gold Cross as soon as possible (or whatever WaW's equivalent of the Gold Cross is.

You just sign up, as far as I know. I had received one in my e-mail for just signing up a few days later. I couldn't use it though because I checked my e-mail late. The beta goes up to like, level 40 something now. I really like this game so far, it's pretty fun. Molotov cocktails really suck though! :P

The level cap for the final game will be 65 so it makes me wonder what the gold cross's equivalent will be also.

Btw If anyone wants it, I also got the PC beta code but my computer is a peice of crap so I can't run it. Just send me a PM or something..
