I saw Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. Well the one he made in America.
 
Aww... I really thought it'd take longer for you guys. Yeah its what their nuggets are made out of. Looks like strawberry sorbet.
 
Heh I've seen & read about it before. :P

It is rather disgusting though. The chicken strippers seem to taste abit like real chicken, I don't really wanna find out if they're not. x_x

Edit: I really want McDonalds now.

...I actually hate McNuggets. Have since I was little. They're just so gristly and nasty.

Not really meant as an "revolutionary eye opener", rather a "wtf is that?"-moment. I mean, they crush chickens into a paste, bone, guts and all, and it looks like that. Its morbid.
 
How long ago was this photo taken? I think McDonalds (and other fast food chains) have changed their game at least a little since the food revolution spurred on by Jamie Oliver and Supersize me, either that or I'm a sucker for corporate brainwashing
 
I've heard so too. Well, at least McDonalds. Not sure about the rest. I guess you could ask if they use mechanically separated chicken or whatever it's called.
 
Yeah they had to give detailed lists of what was in their products (also after the horse meat scandal), lower their salt levels & even have calorie details on everything (besides Milkshakes as you wouldnt want to know). :lol:

Calorie wise they arent as bad as you think these days, well not to the extent they used to be but still wouldnt recommend them as part of a healthy diet.

Are you serious? They're chicken nuggets?? Wow.. Crazy!

Looks like something I poop out after my faerie parties I attend..
 
Yeah and I guess they do use the whole chicken. Nothing gets thrown away. Real eco-friendly!

The actual meat goes to restaurants and stores for 10x the price. The rest goes into nuggets.
 
Pink Slime was served at just about all fast food restaurants until the media hype (YES THAT INCLUDES 5 GUYS). Presumably they all stopped after all those pictures started circulating and people got disgusted.

Fun fact: The only major american fast food chain that didn't use pink slime was Wendy's... them and In 'n Out burger but INO is more of a west coast only thing.
 
I wanna eat Wendy soooo bad.

The mascot reminds me of Pippi Longstockings.
