If you want FII to be a hit, don't talk about the CE problems. Just let it go and others may forget. Ease up on the poor guys. They have enough competition as it is.

Well it really isn't Lionhead's fault by the looks of it. Supply problems, that sounds like the publisher's fault. Well we should probably give Fable II's publishers a break their doing the best they can. O wait its MICROSOFT. I mean really, wtf they need to get their sh*t together. Selling a CE's without even a special box? I mean im looking forward to exclusive in-game content but traditionally thats just given away in pre-orders or through reistering. I feel pretty cheated considering I've already pre-ordered the CE.

I hardly think talking about the issues and problems the CE has will cause people not to buy the game. Their buying the game for the game, not the additional stuff that comes packaged with it- a dodgy CE will hardly affect sales of the game, if anything it will simply make it less profitable because people will opt for the standard game over the CE.

Me for example, had my heart set on the collectors edition, I have now decided that its not worth it, its another weak ass excuse for a collectors edition. What brought me to this decision- not people discussing this issue on the forums, but the fact that they are peddling a dubious second rate CE to the consumer and I would stake money that in a few months an 'ultimate' edition will be released containing the original contents of the CE. I am still, however, intent on purchasing the game from my local retailer. It just means Microsoft and Lionhead don't swindle me out of extra cash by selling me sub-par stuff in the guise of collectors edition. I dont find anything collectable about it.

But there isn't anything really proper collectable about it. I mean, if the little figure had been there and stuff maybe, but right now its just Fable 2 with an extra disc that includes the already available pub games.

I still think in a few months time they will release the original CE and call it Ultimate or IMbah or Uber Edition and yank up the price when sales are waining to try and gain some more money.
