This. It was either look like a beefy man or look like a slut. -_-;
I mean, i liked a few of the clothes in fable 2 but it took ages to actually find some that were what you wanted for your character.

Re: Clothing Fashions

Look the costumes for all of the fables were put into different catorgories for sort of things like.. The temple of light members, theives and all that sort of thing.

I mean i personally like the assasins clothes and all that because it looks good and makes me look more evil.

But with all the clothes out of the way they need to change how people look when they get like 100 percent evil and hero, that sort of thing. To make them look way cooler.

Re: Clothing Fashions

I think that Fable 2 was set in the early 1700s...

The arisocratic women wore 17th century style dresses, but the male aristocrats wore clothes popular in the 18th century.

But I'd love if the clothing took on the look of the 'Robe a la francaise' or had a royal court.
I thought Fairfax Castle was a little overrated...

Oh and powdered wigs for guys!

I don't care when Fable is in time, I want my fawking armour back.

I have to disagree. It was ok in tlc because it suited the time era, but I liked the clothing in fable 2 because it made you look more casual, which is how I always wanted my hero to dress.

Agreed!

In TLC, I always tried to abstain from putting lots of points into health, will and skill because it made my character look like a beefy 10 foot tall walking glowstick; ALL I WANT IS TO FIT IN ):

Re: Clothing Fashions

I think they should still put armour into the game. Armour WAS used my musketeers and cannoneers in the 1700s.

Re: Clothing Fashions

IIRC, armor was removed from Fable II because they wanted players to wear clothes based on their personal preferences rather than its stat bonuses. Of course, that didn't work out so well due to people choosing clothing that gave them the highest attractiveness. I won't lie; I've done the same thing.

Personally, though, I'm rather indifferent on whether or not armor is included.

Armour's pointless when guns are in the game. I know there's a lot of variety in clothes in Fable 2 but they're not generally good. More BETTER customisation, please LionHead.

armour is not pointless. They had armour around the time the had guns. What do we wear today? bullet proof vests! armour to block the guns!!! and i think armour has good uses. like if u added enemies like: wizards, archers and warriors, u could get armour to prevent wizard attacks, armour to rpevent raned attacks, and armour to prevent melee attakcs

Re: Clothing Fashions

Something that would make you character look more alluring and mysterious would be nice. However I doubt they'd base the clothing off of pre-victorian...How are we women supposed to move with wire frames under our dresses? Some nice cloaks with hoods would be nice, instead of just the one Monk cloak...Something like Theresa's outfit would be perfect. I need to figure out how to mod that outfit for my character. Coin belts for the win~

Re: Clothing Fashions

modding is tough since lionhead didnt release fable 2 for the pc. Unless you can mod for the xbox then its tough. But victorian stage is going too far. We arent moving ahead another 500 years. We move ahead 50 years, so the hero of bowerstone is probably still alive.

 YES! Of course, as a feminist myself, I'd have to say that if there are going to be gender-specific achievements that there should be ones for male heroes too, in the name of equality.
