Condominium Association sucks!

MY Condo Association President is encouraging people to not only stop feeding ducks and geese who are coming to the lakes by the Condominiums, and to use Scare Tactics and says "If the geese use all their energy avoiding harassment (Rocks?) and can no longer eat and rest they will fly away."
Disgusting, I reported them to the Fish and Wildlife association.

So apparently KY Government says they can encourage harassing Geese because a few old crones are afraid of something that runs away when I sneeze. I guess it is an internal thing I will have to do. Protest it maybe.

Try it. Go harass a goose (especially one with babies), it WILL attack you. Ducks you might get away with, but geese are big and people find them somewhat intimidating, and the geese know it.

In the end, this plan is bound to fail. Since ducks and geese are coming to your condo in the first place, I am assuming there is some sort pond or stream nearby. They are not going to leave that. Not providing them with food wont help, they will find it elsewhere. And you would have to have a team of people chasing them off 24/7 to get any lasting affect, and even that probably wouldn't work well. That, and I doubt they can get many people to agree to this at all. To stop feeding them, maybe, that would cut down on the poo (maybe), but nobody is going to agree to harrassing them.

I once got attacked by a goose, I was feeding the ducks near a pond and the geese got jealous. One of them ran at me in the way they do; raising it's wings and running at me as if it had soiled its trousers.

I threw what bread I had left at it, and it got half a loaf to the bill. It wasn't happy. I got bit on my arm whilst running, screaming. Good times.

Note: This was when I was about 6, before I acquired the Dragon Balls and made my wish to become more powerful than Chuck Norris hooked up to a generator via crocodile clips to the nipples.

I was goosed by a goose when I was like 8, geese are the 'jerk' fowl, they steal from the ducks, they attack you and they hiss like my turtle. Best part is: All the complainers are old folks (Like six of them.) and like one middle aged girl. So it would be funny to watch, I just they don't do to the geese what they did to homeowners dogs (Injected Hotdogs with Anti-Freeze and laid them in the parking lots, killed three dogs, still don't know who it was.)

Someone with a wicked sense of irony. Anti-freeze in HOTdogs, and the perpetrator left them for dogs to eat? Wicked stuff.
