There's no such thing as Thanksgiving in my country.

Eh, my mum is partly American, so we do it unfortuneately. I hate celebrations (yes, even Christmas) so today is just another day for me to lock myself in my room and yell at people.

well i don't know why i celebrate it. my family didn't come on the mayflower. THEY CAME ON A BOAT AND RESIDED IN CANADA UNTIL THE LATE NINETEENTH CENTURY!!!! yes my last name is Hudson

Thanksgiving is an american holiday where you eat turkey and stuffing and stuff, watch American Football (don't know what you guys call it sorry) and give thanks for what you have.

Thanksgiving is meaningless here. We have our turkey on Christmas.

We call it gridiron. Probably because of all the grids, and iron.

I think some people in this thread are missing the point of the holiday.

Yea but there tends to be a reason why the holiday started, people weren't born with the date tattoo'd to their skull.
