I hated that part too. All I can suggest is sitting very, very close to the TV/Monitor so you can spot the meteors as soon as they spawn - there is no range limit to the gun so you can eliminate them early.

Are you kidding me?! I survived that with 70% shields left, and got the "Don't get ****y, kid" achievement.
I had all the achievements except for One Gun and Epic Tier 3 Engineer, I was a few levels away from getting One Gun but my Xbox broke
and now I don't have my account, so blah.!!
But back on topic, this part is so easy, just aim for the center of the comets.

Don't Get ****y Kid - Survive the ADS Cannon with over 50% shield strength remaining 10G
and
Slugger - Kill the Slug Boss with more than 50% shield strength remaining 10G
no 70% achievement.

Mine has Dead Space, C&C 3, GoW 2 and CoD 4 this month, every few months it seems they have a new selction, PLENTY of PC games, but I don't trust those discs (Last one was sticky... Eeew...)
