Dead Space Question

For those of you who got the Maxed Out achievement, when you fully upgrade a gun can you sell it to get nodes or do you have to keep all upgraded guns till you have all of them fully upgraded?

I'm working under the assumption that you have to have to keep it all on you for it to count. I'll prolly have it in a day or two, I'll let you know how it goes.

Never mind. I got it, just keep all the weapons don't sell any. Now to work on One Gun !

Couldn't sell it, controller was like half broken along with mic I'd have to pay for repairs, not worth it.

Surprisingly easy, the Plasma Cutter is the best weapon in the game...

I beat Dead Space over at my Cousin's. It was amazing. Plasma Cutter + Force Gun (the shot gun that also shot grenades) were my two favorites.
