Decisions, decisions...
So here's my situation... For the past 3 days my xbox has been freezing, glitching, and just acting weird in general - basically showing all the signs that the RROD is in its near future. As I see it, I have two options:
Option 1: It's still under warranty, so I can send it back to Microsoft and get a functioning, refurbished (I'm assuming) xbox back in return. In the meantime, I'd probably buy a cheap xbox at GameStop to hold me over through the couple months it'll be til I get the other one. Then I'll sell one of them and probably won't end up losing that much money in the deal.
Option 2: I can go to GameStop right now and trade it in while it's still semi-functioning and put the credit for it toward buying the cool looking new black xbox.
What everyone else do in this situation? I'd especially like to hear from those of you who have the new black xbox or know someone who does. Is it worth it for me to put out the extra $$ for it?
