Blizzard have released the latest Diablo 3 Patch 1.0.3b in America (other territories shortly) and detailed the full list of changes made:
Auction House
  • The following commodities are now available for trading in the real-money auction house (gold commodity trading is coming soon):
    -Gems
    -Dyes
    -Crafting materials
    -Blacksmithing Plans and Jeweler Designs
    -Pages of Training
Bug Fixes
  • The "Bid" and "Buyout" buttons will now be correctly grayed-out in the confirmation window when attempting to purchase an item with insufficient gold
General Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug where leaving a heavily-populated General chat channel would prevent players from rejoining any General chat channel until they logged out and logged back in
  • Fixed several tooltip-related bugs that were occurring when viewing items with 2 or more sockets in the auction house and profile pages
  • Fixed a rare crash with tutorials on item pickup
Blizzard have also recently admitted that Diablo 3 lacks end-game content and promised future patches will give players something to do beyond grinding for items.

That's right.

Focus on the real life money trading!

That's how you make a superb game, fo' sure.

I got to Inferno and said "Yep, that's the end for me."

To be fair, I immensely enjoyed the game up until then.

Pretty much my experience as well. Fun ride while it lasted.

Out of curiosity... Why? What happened? Get like, really hard or something? I haven't played the game just wanted to know why that part made you guys stop playing the game. :/

After finishing Hell, Inferno is like running headlong into a brick wall. As a melee character you get insta-gibbed by most things. The gear which was enough to finish Hell just won't cut it. So you have to either grind the last act on Hell in a MMO fashion for gold, or (as they wanted all along) buy the better gear on their AH for real money.

But wait, you can totally buy your way through Inferno with real money.
