The dog is merely another game mechanic that has become a part of Fable. Like Strength, Skill and Will and preoperty ownership, there is a treasure finding dog. If you didn't like it, be nasty to it. My mate had this cool, evil Mr. Hyde type character whose dog was black and gnarled and hated him and, as he never healed it, hobbled around with a broken leg barking at people.

I wasn't a fan of the dog at first, but once the game came out and I had played for a bit I became attached to my pooch. So I don't have a problem with them bringing the dog back for fable 3.

I just hope there are more 'dog relevant' quests.

i liked the dog but sometimes i wanted to beat the crap out of it because it was annoying as hell espescially when i was playing co-op he just kept being crap

I loved the dog in fable 2 but i think it should stay as a defining factor. In fable 3 i think that you should have a choice between a dog, cat, horse etc.

The dog was one of the best parts of fable 2. Without it you would of been so lonely going through the game.
