im not sure if its 'normal' but it happens in mine, and everyone elses as well, and you can keep going back to donate and they will keep giving u the same weapon repeatedly

yeah, it's normal. I think they just want more money... because i've poured a lot of money in there and only got the one item... and lots of purity points.
