so fable 2 was getting old so i thought i try fallout 3 so i went and brouht it the story line is way to long and sometimes it dosent give you the points if you talk to the wrong person or if you kill the queen ant when it says its says you can kill it if you want

if you have it tell me what you think of it and if i can make my gameplay better

i also brought it becuase of the guy with the yellow hair

Well for some resson alout of people were like all over fallout 3, saying it's the best game ever made. Well I honestly not interested in fallout 3, i'll stick to halo 3 and fable 2 for now. Those are the current games im playing, fallout 3 didn't grab my attention like fable 2 did and gears 2

Seems a bit odd that this is in the Fable II section but meh might aswell add my reply, I think Fallout 3 is an awesome game I personally havnt played it on the Xbox (PC gamer at heart until my PSU died) it does have its fair share of problems (thats to be expected on PC's more so than Xbox due to the variety of equiptment it is played on, even if Xbox's are just glorified PC's and most people with PC's have an internet connection so patches are not much of a problem there).
The game itself is a bit confusing as far as the indepth story goes (being a completly true free roaming game) but all in all until my PSU died I found it incredibly entertaining and probably one of the best games for PC I have ever played (it combined my fav things in games FPS+RPG+Free Roaming).... personally I dont like playing shooters on consoles though I need my max GFX and kick arse mouse so I cant comment on the Xbox version of any shooters.

Anyway summing up Fallout 3 awesome game on PC, Fable 2 awesome game all together (apart from the never ending glitches).

Fallout 3 is a very hard to understand game for about the first 10 hours and that's if you don't do the side quests. The last 2 hours is when everything comes together and you actually begin to get hooked then the game suddenly ends. Kind of a let down but looking back on the game you get the, "Wow, that was pretty neat." but while playing there is nothing that keeps you motivated.

Fallout 3 is a great game. I just finished it today. But Fable 2 gets the biggest part of my heart.

I have a copy in my house at the moment, borrowed from an acquaintance of my brother and I have yet to try it out. I watched a bit of game play and it seems interesting enough. Honestly, I'm not a fan of first person shooters, but this does seem to have a little more substance than simply clearing a room of enemies and moving on.

Ok, Im sorry I trashed you like that....no, no I was wrong im not sorry at all. Fallout 3 was awesome It went on and on and on forever, it seemed there was always something to do and there were billions of Clothing and weapon options and the missions were excentric and continuous. The only real problem I had with the game was there were no transportation options. I understand the idea, but at least an ATV or something. Fallout is worth the buy.

Fallout 3 is excellent and saying dont buy it is like telling someone to walk into a sweet shop and buy nothing. Its got a little bit of something that everyone likes and ive known people who hate the first person genre who absolutely love the game. At the end of the day its one of the best games released in the last 2 years and your points seem petty.

The story isnt long at all i found myself wanting more to be honest as the main quests are around 20 hours long. However the side quests are the most fun and i did one playthrough that lasted 57 hours and now on my second playthrough doing something different and 23 hours in. Thats more than ive played any game in some time so i have respect for Bethesda for making a game where i feel that my choices have a huge impact on the world.

You know what? I hope someone releases a game like fallout 3 thats huge like it is, but keeps adding on. Like taking away certain boundaries and the land get bigger, maybe even wrap that into the story as to why you couldnt go there before "Radiation is survivable now we can go there"

As for the original poster: Pay attention. It clearly states that if you kill the Ant Queen in that quest, the quest giver isn't going to be pleased.

It's not the game's fault you can't read properly.

Fallout 3 was a game I was not excited about... then I played it, Fable 2 should take some tips on how to make a game last, I enjoyed the story and gameplay for more than fable 2 which I had been waiting for a year now :ninja:

I really liked Fallout 3 too, no wait, I loved it!! It was fantastic in many ways; combat, dialogue, quests and adventures. Yes, it has its flaws, but that just gives it character. But there is no comparing Fallout 3 and Fable 2, they're just too different. Like comparing an orange to an armadillo. Along the line there is something in common, but not does make much difference.

One other thing, what did you mean by 'guy with yellow hair'?

That games great. I don't know how someone who likes RPG's or just Fable wouldn't like. Yeah, it is complicated in parts, but you get over that fairly quickly.

Wow. I was actually AMazed by Fallout 3! I loved the game so much! But its so expensive here.. I mgiht buy it when i get mor emoney..
