Quick post: The folks at Steam are currently running a temporary promotion whereby both PC and Mac owners can download Portal via Steam for absolutely free. There is a deadline however; users have until May 24th to take advantage of this offer before it is returned to its original cost.

Note: You will need an active Steam account to download your free copy of Portal.

It's great that Steam are attempting to strengthen PC gaming. PC gaming currently needs more players.
