We have 2 cats, an orange tabby named Buddy and a tuxedo cat named Hobbes... yes, his name is really Hobbes. Buddy is 1½ years old, and Hobbes is a month older than him. Unlike the other 2 cats we got before Hobbes, Buddy and him got along well within a couple of days and they love to play tag and wrestle with each other during the day and night (typically after midnight), things often get knocked over and or damaged around those hours.
Had a bad moment with Buddy last year though where he almost died from an accidental head injury and they were going to put him down because the vets didn't think he would pull through, but I told them I didn't want to. They said he would probably be able to make it if he was carefully nursed at home (we didn't have enough money to continue medical treatment at the hospital). He was temporarily blind in one eye for a few months after the accident, and I nursed him back to health. Having to hand-feed him and carry him to the bathroom (had brain trauma and was unable to walk for a week), eventually he got better and is 100% healthy again.. looking at him now, you'd never be able to tell that he was once sitting on his death bed.
Here's some pictures of them.

One thing I love about Buddy is that if you stare at him long enough (10-15 seconds), he'll meow at you in a "What?" manner, if you continue to do so then he'll continue to respond that way until he eventually purs and rolls onto his back, works just about everytime. Some people tell us they look like Sylvester & Garfield.
