Wikipedia also said November 1st about 2 weeks ago. I doubt it'll come out in December, tbh, probably earlier.

If it says December 30th/31st - that means it's the latest possible date that the game will come out. It also said a few weeks ago that Fallout: New Vegas would be out in the 31st. A release date after Christmas would be pointless.
I'd expect it around late October/Mid or Late November.

I'm going to agree with Steve (projectego) on this one. Going one step further I'd say October 19th or 26th.
