Re: Fable III: Weapon Morphing and It's "Seeds" to do so
Alright, this keeps upsetting me. You clearly have no idea what they're talking about when they say 'seed'. Don't worry, I have pictures and examples. So I put a tree in a 3D scene using 3DS Max. It comes with a specific seed. If I change the seed, the entire tree changes. It determines the 'morphing' of the tree as it changes, for example by growing, telling the tree where the branches and leaves and everything else is going to be. Here I have three renders of the same tree, each showing the tree with a different seed.
If they all look the same it's because you can't look at them all at the same time... or can you?
And so, with different seeds you effectively have different trees. This is how the morphing will work. The seed will tell the game how to morph the weapon. Since everyone is
supposed to have a different seed, then everyone will have a different weapon, much like how I have a different tree for each different seed. Understand? No? Too bad. In any case, take down what you're saying about the seed, because it's wrong and it makes you look like you don't know what you're talking about... actually, you don't, which pretty much proves my case.
