Lionhead have released information on the next game they have been working on and its for Microsoft's Kinect. Quote from CVG website says the following:
Peter Molyneux showed off the title on stage, promising that it will "connect you to the world of Albion like never before."
The demo kicked off with a player holder the reigns on the back of a horsecart, before moving on to an on-foot and on-rails battle where he blasted various magic attacks with his hands, performing different gestures to conjure different spells.

Video will be available shortly, article can be found here.
EDIT* Also posted here...

Okay I was toltally for the whole Fable through timelines where magic seeped away and each installment there was more and more technology and undustry...but Fable is an RPG and how will it compete in a different franchise those other titles are solid cast in Gold. And Kinnect?? Honestly I hate that caucasion wii ripoff. Garbage.

I want the story of the Archons and the bloodline and will. Always be the guild puppet..

Heres the link to the video trailer until it gets posted.

Lol reminds me of LOST

So if you noticed Fable you were an Eagle hero (Scarlet Rose your mother's hammer was an Eagle and you where her son) In Fable 2 you were a sparrow pigeon crap compared to the olden days, In Fable 3 you were a traitor chicken, and it looks like in the journey you are a bug, an insect.

So Will is all but stamped out in Albion Heroes are no longer born and must be made.

There is no stopping the wrong hands from grasping power now and my theory is that the void will be opened again, Albion will become corrupt and desolate and Theresa will wish it destroyed in the spire so a new better world can form.

not interested in the game, but i'd like for the forum categories to be collapseable or something, because it's just getting cumbersome to skip everything fable related and get to general discussion. :ermm:

i am glad i have only played the first one. they went too frokking far in the future between 1 and 2. they should have went in 50 year increments. maybe in this seperate fable timeline Aarken Bromson (Hero of Oakvale) would be the devil-horned guildsmaster. and then by fable 3 in this seperate timeline you could DUAL WIELD AXES or something.

and who play's with kinect??????????????

I could as i have it in my house but my Girlfriend uses it and her son so in theory i could give it a go. I was sceptical about how responsive it would be and dont really like motion controls or things like the Wii sensor but it works much better than i expected. I dont think any 'big' games will ever be made exclusively for it but if a company can really use the tech in there it could have some decent titles. Ryse is a more adult game being made for it and that looks interesting.

im useing kinect for fittness your shape and i working nicely for me

I think thats its issue at the moment its concentrating more on party games and fitness games just like the Wii did rather than some interesting new developments. Those games are fine for the purposes but dont just want them as thats not what Kinect's potential was meant to be for. It works better than i thought but its populated with the same games we have seen for years on the Wii but that work better. I dont want updated Wii games i want to see some true innovation and new ideas.

true say DD but wii you dont move so much and kinect you can move more

Yeah thats true but the ideas are the same i mean Wii Sports and Kinect Sports are essentially the same game but you use a controller with one of them. Like i said Kinect does what the Wii did but better and in a more advanced way but i dont want it to be just an improved Wii as i didnt have any interest in waving a controller around either. If they can make an adult game that doesnt make me feel/look like an idiot when playing it i may be tempted to give it a go. At the moment though ive only used Kinect when drunk or when persuaded by the girlfriend.

Just wish there was a little more precision and things didnt eventually boil down to waving arms and jumping around. I mean Ryse looked interesting because it was sword fighting, shield blocking, kicking and headbutting, something that comes naturally and not just flailing around like a fish on a boat deck. If some developer can actually nail down a mechanic like that, that actually works well it would be interesting.

Im not a fan of motion control or anything like that but could be interesting if someone can design a detailed adult game for it.
