Yeah really, this game sucks up power more than a Facetime video call. Game got my phone so hot for me it actually made me drop my phone by accident once, it's crazy. Hopefully they'll put out a patch or two for optimization and fix a few of the umm.... bugs.
Haven't been able to play it Android here.

I like the pic of the 50 year old toddler that's been showing up in them. Hmmm, perhaps there is a radiation leak in the shelter.

And before Todd and any of us know it, age is gonna slam him like ton of bricks in the blink of an eye. Why, just ask Jim Carrey!
Hahaha, you called it!

Well Pete Hines stated on Twitter that Android version will be... >.> 2 months away. Though to be fair, this is what android development looks like, and it ain't fun. Knowing Bethesda I can bet they won't fix some of those bugs since they're so darn hilarious.

Hoping for some more varied disasters and other attacks on the vault other than Raiders to mix things up a little. Some more things to build wouldnt go a miss either, could be quite a deep game with some more items/weapons and outfits etc.

Jeez Andy, it sounds like you don't want a mobile game that's incredibly repetitive and filled with nothing but mundane tasks.

Still playing it all the time, just think it could be really special with a couple of minor improvements and updates. My 2 favourite games on mobile besides this were original Plants vs Zombies and Kingdom Rush and this is right up there already.

They stated on Twitter that they plan to continue to add some more content, what that amounts to I've no idea... but the game just got its first shot of new content in the way of that Preston Garvey guy from Fallout 4 with his little Laser Musket (and that sweet jacket). Gotta get 'em via a lunchbox though since he's a legendary dweller, but I definitely hope they add more events and rooms. I can only take radroaches so many damn times, how about a flood disaster when the water room screws up? Or if the radio room messes up it has the chance to grab the attention of some Super Muties.

The possibilities are endless, hopefully they keep it even after FO4 is out. I can see myself still playing this little gem beyond such.

It's a great little time waster and don't need to sit on it for ages and can check it throughout the day at your own pace.

Yeah agreed, I usually pick it up to keep things moving through random 2min intervals, but sometimes I'm able to kick back and run a good 30mins or so. No pressure.

I also figured out my "crash to corrupt save" glitch from awhile back, it occurs from overheating while the battery is low (I'm using an iPhone 5s). So I've learned to be a bit more careful with that now, hah, I even saw a few people having to play the game on a cooling pad. Wild.

Some things never die. Considering the song came out in 1969 I would've dismissed such since there's a timeline split, but New Vegas was using songs that were produced back in 1995 even (blew my mind) so I wouldn't rule it out.

But it got me thinking, baseball is such a huge thing for Boston right? Now imagine if Bethesda managed to squeeze in a baseball mini-game into it. Aw, I wanna smack a ball and watch it go through someone's window or bonk some wastelander on the noggin'.

Had the odd dweller go invisible and require app restart and couple of minor glitches but other than that I haven't had a single issue. I'm using a 2+ year old iPhone 5 and it's been pretty smooth.

So Bethesda just updated the entire Fallout website, looks quite delicious now with new artwork and new small bits of info. And they also uploaded the E3 gameplay demo & trailer sans audience & commentary with better quality. It looks like we're going to be getting more new videos soon that details how each S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attribute functions in FO4.

https://www.fallout4.com/games/fallout-4

Also, I love the attention & respect they've thrown to the classic Fallout games and gave them their own sites as well. Damn right Bethesda, respect the roots. Fallout 4 will also be shown at Quakecon (July 23rd) and Gamescom (August 5th) so things should get pretty interesting soon.

I haven't had any bugs ever since this 2nd vault I've been running all this time, but I'll tell ya one thing that has been grinding my gears. I've lost count of how many times when I'm swiping, pinching and stretching the camera out and I constantly select some random dweller that I never meant to click on, and then they get accidentally dragged around too. Awgh!

Yeah that can be a pain, or just accidentally catch the screen and it scrolls way down into the centre of the earth by the look of it. My vault is currently at around 80 Dwellers and quite easily manageable at moment.

Oh yeah, that happens too. Right now I really hope they get around to nerfing the radroaches a bit, they're like freakin' Deathclaws in there it's insane. Had like 5 rooms completely wiped out at one point because of them. I currently have 100 dwellers in my vault, it's still pretty manageable, but because of all the production rooms I've got I'm basically playing whack-a-mole with the rooms every couple minutes. I can only imagine how that'll turn out once I max out at 200.

Lots of info pouring in from the Quakecon demo, IGN's liveblog really glossed over a lot of details apparently. Anyway, enjoy. :D

EDIT: Here is the audio recording of the demo, you'll have to turn the volume up to hear Todd better.

https://soundcloud.com/thelulrus/qc2015 (better quality)
Audio Transcript: http://textuploader.com/a5ek8

The following info is from IGN & Quakecon attendees:
- You get a total of 12 companions to choose from in the game.
- Only one companion at a time, so you won't be able to for example have Piper with Dogmeat, or Codsworth with Dogmeat.
- Codsworth can say over 1,000 names from "Shaun" and "Angela" to "Mr. McFly" and "Mr. ****face".
- There will be more silly names like "Mr. ****face" to choose from for Codsworth to say.
- Todd Howard stated (via Game Informer) that your name will also be used in dialogue and conversations.
- You can fall in love and have romance with your companions (humanoids only).
- Dogmeat, Piper, Preston Garvey, and Codsworth are confirmed companions.
- Piper is a female journalist that wears a red leather coat and a reporter newsboy hat. This is likely her at the bottom (note the journal/notepad she's holding): http://i.imgur.com/F2wyDG4.png
- Perk system is built upon SPECIAL and you can level up perks multiple times.
- About 70 perks and up to 275 total levels with all perks leveled up in rank, though most likely a level cap like Skyrim to prevent the "Jack of all Trades, Master of All" trap.
- Perks are laid out on a vault poster and perks further down the vault require more SPECIAL.
- Skills appear to be gone entirely from the game (or they simply build in the background) and FO4 will instead go the Elder Scrolls route of "Be what you play".
- Ghouls can crawl through windows and the cracks of walls. They don't move like humans anymore and can swarm around you.
- Many new enemy animations, e.g: You can shoot the limbs off ghouls and they'll still fight you, shooting off the legs makes them crawl on the ground after you. Likely applies to Androids as well naturally.
- There are "Legendary" tier enemies in the game.
- ^ A "casino" enemy caption was spotted, which could mean we might have casinos in the game (a la New Vegas).
- Sounds will echo in appropriate locations for the game.
- You can still hack terminals in the game, basically the same system from FO3/NV.
- You can command your companions to loot corpses (similar to Skyrim basically, so it would cover a lot of other tasks really)
- Melee VATS results in physically striking their body parts, rather than the aimless "fake hitting" from FO3/NV.
- Bloody Mess confirmed (duh.)
- Combat is more fluid and all enemies have their own unique animations.
- Bethesda fully designed & detailed the robot interiors as you'll be able to see them when you destroy them now. This includes your robo-butler Codsworth.
- There are cloth physics: Robes, skirts, dresses, coats, and cloaks can now blow in the wind.
- Looting in general is now in real time and doesn't pause the game, uses a pop-up menu now. It's closer to the right-side of the screen and doesn't take up much space, allows for scrolling as well.
- There is now a quick select menu (similar to Skyrim's favorites menu) you can pull up on-the-fly for short-notice items (e.g. Stimpacks, Drugs, Grenades, etc.)
- Using Stimpaks plays a self-jabbing animation for injection (think Far Cry & Dying Light).
- Pip-boy still pauses gameplay.
- Can use the butt of your gun for melee combat.
- Enemies will react to each part of their body depending on where you hit them.
- New Perks: Attack Dog! (allows for Dogmeat to perform takedowns and tackle assaults) and Intimidation.
- There will be procedural reactions to you, based off your Reputation and Karma. Ranging from NPCs of the world down to your companions (including Dogmeat).
- Dogmeat has a vast amount of animations making him lifelike.
- There MIGHT be snow in the game, one of the concept arts for Diamond City had it covered in snow. All this waiting almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter...
- More weapon modding: Night vision missile launcher, scatter laser musket, hardened sniper rifle, and full-auto plasma rifle.
- Explosive barrels are in.
- Your character will make verbal comments when interacting with the world, such as successfully hacking a terminal will make him/her respond with "Sweet!" for example.
- Laser rifles now have proper bass to their sound, instead of being light pews from FO3/NV.
- You can mod red-dot laser sights onto your guns.

UPDATE:
- Books & Skill Books can be physically read like in Skyrim, this includes comic books!
- You can earn a perk that allows you to always travel solo, disabling the companion feature, should you want that.
-Bethesda spent a large amount of time on each companion and allowing them to procedurally react to you over time in the game, building up their own opinions on you.
- Stimpaks are no longer insta-heals and will instead gradually restore your health over time.
- You will periodically get to upgrade one of your SPECIAL attributes by 1 point when leveling up. Likely to a max of 3-4 points total.
- Intimidation Perk allows your character to control other people in the world.
- You can move the pip-boy around when you pull it up in-game (rotate your arm around and stuff).

Fallout Shelter info:
- Android version coming in August 13th.
- More Vault incidents are coming along with enemy raids such as Deathclaws & Molerats.
- Mr. Handy is a reward. He'll pick up all your resources for you so you don't have to tap them.
- The new features will arrive on August 13th for both iOS & Android.

I'll update when more details come out, someone managed to record the entire audio for the presentation, so I'll share it here when it's uploaded. No word on video though.

Indeed, I'm pumped for this game. I had some worries still reserved on the table, but the Quakecon info that's rolled out has resolved all the issues I had left for it. One of the things I hope they do for the game is add new features/content with each patch like they did with Skyrim.

Still more goodies for it just around the corner, Gamescom is next week and the game will be on stage there as well, makes me wonder how they could still manage to have more new stuff to show. Thankfully it's a public show so we'll get to actually see stuff this time. Pete Hines mentioned on twitter that the game is essentially finished with content, no more to be added and they're now in the full swing of bug fixing and polishing.

Seems they have taken what they learned with Fallout 3, heard what people didnt like in New Vegas (even though they didnt develop it) and brought in and expanded some ideas that people liked in Skyrim to blend them all together. Im excited and going to be juggling this and The Witcher 3 for some time I would say, not to mention my Steam library filling up too.
