Just to praise or accuse your favorite or hated MMORPG..
I personally love Guild Wars due to the stablity and structure (as compared to other MMORPGs).

Re: Favorite MMORPG

Final Fantasy is a current love at the moment. And no other MMO or game for that matter seem to be better than it. But that will end soon as a certain special game comes...

Re: Favorite MMORPG

Guild Wars by far, they have a good team behind the game and bring out lots of updates etc and its very stable which alot of MMORPGS arent. No monthly fees aswel! :D

Final Fantasy was fun.. But it takes alot of effort. I've decided I don't want to spend around $15 to $20 a month for the next 4 years. I also have done some more research (I love to research btw) and it seems that most of the jobs are under powered, taking alot of leveling time before you're really worth anything in a party.

I agree, i hate the thought of monthly fees and under par support for them.

Re: Favorite MMORPG

Well what do you expect, to have a near top-notch character from the very beginning. I assume that you have forgotten that FFXI is a game mostly for those of the hard-core standing. This is one MMO that purely bases itself on which any MMO is based upon, time and effort. But out of pure curiosity, what classes where mentioned as "under-powered"?

I admit that I have never played GW but I am in no way saying it is a bad game. From what I have read and seen it has much to offer but I still don't have enough interest to play it with its certain down-trots.

The Thief and Black Mage come to mind.. But this is since the last time I played. Their usefulness didn't come until at least lvl 15 and I'm not one for soloing (since it did take a long time to level) that long. Speaking of under par support (more bashing and this time I'm updated) Star Wars Galaxies would have to win that award.

Re: Favorite MMORPG

I admit the theif was pretty pitiful at first but you still needed to lvl up your evasion skill even if they are good with dodging. But I wouldn't completely know since I chose Monk.

yeah that's the great part about it.

Just goes to show to make a good MMORPG you do NOT need monthly fees to pay for great quality service and awesome amount of updates etc!
