Mine is Torgue. They make solid, no-nonsense weapons that may lack elemental properties but pack one helluva punch and unlike Jacobs they don't sacrifice that much accuracy, capacity and other attributes in order to pack that punch. Plus, they look gorgeous in Borderlands 2 with them racing flag patterns on them. They really went above and beyond in making each manufacturer having a unique design whereas in the original Borderlands it was mostly just a palette swap.

Which manufacturer is your favourite?

Maliwan, with Hyperion a close secound. I love elemental weapons, and I like the fact that Hyperion guns tend to gain accuracy as they fire.

Plus, my favorite shotgun is Hyperion. Moxxi gave it to me for a quest. It's a fire shotgun with a picture of Moxxi on the side, with a "Moxxi" caption as well. The red print in the inventory screen reads "I don't want to set the world on fire". Badass. Im gonna be sad when I have to put it in the bank because its underleveled. But other than that my wepons tend to be Maliwan.

Stop teasing me! Damn it all, im going to have to get this game tomorrow..

I try to get as many Maliwans as possible, too. Elemental weapons do very well in the hands of a Siren, whether solo or not.

But my one favourite weapon would have to be the Hyperion's Energizing Bane. Its known as a "Curse Weapon" and is incredibly annoying! But I love it!

Jacobs is alright, but I don't like the price you pay for that firepower.

For example, most of their shotguns only hold one shot worth of ammo before reload.

Aside from revolvers, I must say the weapons seem far more interesting in Borderlands 2 than they did in the first one.

Not to mention they are inaccurate and slow as hell. They whre in the first game anyway, I havn't used them much this time around.

Aye. Im sad to see the revolvers didn't get much love this time. Not even separate ammo. The Pestilent Defiler was my all time favorite gun in Borderlands. Now I find Im using shotguns a lot more.

I remember back in BL 1 one of their "hooks" was that they has something like "over a thousand different weapons" And when i picked up the game my suspicions where correct:
About 40 different weapon models with slight tweaked stats = whole "new " weapon. I remember finding pistols with (give or take) 1 stat and a name change.

Darksiders 2 suffers from the same fate, but with armor and weapons

Im all for Jacob guns, (thats right, I got Borderlands 2!)

I love the Jacobs Handguns, I've just started and have the "Widowmaker" BAD ASS

Tediore and Maliwan. Cann't beat throwing a gun at a nomads face or setting them on fire.

I hate Tediore.

I can't stand their feature as the explosion hurts my character (by ricocheting off walls and back into my face) more often than I land it on enemies.

Meh i've you used to it now. I have a level 27 E-tech Tediore SMG.

When i reload it with old bullet fired i can do up to around 25k damage in one hit. To do less damage just don't ever reload and let it auto reload. Does hardly anything then, or stand back. Haha.

If they just made your character immune to it, it wouldn't bother me so much. But since I'm playing as the Gunzerker with shotguns I'm often in close so the exploding gun becomes a hazard, not an asset.

Yeah I found myself doing that too as its habit when reloading to head behind cover. Then I end up bouncing it off said cover and back into my own face. I will have a look at my loadout when I get home as I cant think what manufacturer weapons im using right now.

I NEVER keep a Tediore. I'm one of those people who automatically reload every time I down an enemy, which means every 3 seconds, and the reload time on those things are GOD AWFUL.

Wait what? Not all of the Tediore weapons have bad reloads. I use a boat load of Tediore SMGS and Shottys and none of them have bad reloads.

Best thing to do with a Tediore to inflict high damage is to fire off one shot then reload and hit the enemy directly. I'm on playthrough 2 and i can hit upwards of 40k doing that.

Well, to be frank, I've only tried the lower leveled Tediores. Must be me being prejudiced. I'll give the next one a shot.

You have to keep in mind that you throw away all the ammo left in the gun when you do that, but its so much fun.

I tend to reload in between enemies and I killed myself with my own Tediore a few times to many so I quit using them.

My first experience with a Tediore was something like this.

*Finds gun*

"Wooo.... lets see how well this one funtions."

*Shoots a few rounds*

"Not bad."

*Reload, bounces off wall, dies"

"WHAT THE F*** JUST HAPPENED!!!!"
