Favourite RETRO Game? (before 2005)

just wondering which of the classic game legends you love and for what console
and what was the first game you play and for what console?

my favourite classic retro is supermario world for the snes
and the first game i played on was street fighter 2 turbo for the snes

My favourite retro game has to be The legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time, classic masterpiece.

But I'd think that retro would be older than than. At least pre 2002.

Yes, simply yes. You win. You win the internets. I use Lancelot even though he's the weakest character. I feel cool for using a weaker character and getting to the final stage. This game definetly.

Otherwise Super Metroid or Bahamut Lagoon.

Random factoid, I got to the last boss with full health and zero spares, with two continues left. The final boss proceeded to use all manner of fiery doom-type attacks to destroy me. Lvl. 14 when I died I think.
