FE doesnt work?

Ok so when I try to play as Scythe (http://forums.projectego.net/you-can-your-favourite-rival-hero-2247/), I do everything, but I still dont play as him! (also, im still an apprentice if that matters)

Wait til you get out of training and try again, you may be Scythe then, or you may have to run from FE again. I know if you have a weapon in slots for it, it shows up when you are a kid, but disappears once you are a teen in the Guild. It won't show back up til after training sometimes.

Yes, that or find a save game online somewhere that already has the hero passed training.
