I think they just overkill the series, No point in calling it Final Fantasy since there never will be a FINAL fantasy.

I will purchase this if it actually ends up any good. However as we have to wait over a year after Japan to recieve it im sure we will see verdicts pretty soon. Last Final Fantasy i enjoyed was Final Fantasy X, i couldnt get into XII because i didnt like the combat system.

I find the Final Fantasy universe exiting, but when it comes to actually playing FF I feel that the grinding elements is something that belongs in a MMORPG

There are two being made, Final Fantasy XIII which is for 360 and PS3 and then Final Fantasy XIII Versus which is PS3 exclusive.
