Fresh air...hmm nice

XD i like this site...alot more friendly than other forums I'm unhappily a part of.
My name is Johan in english, i speak German, I skateboard, I'm an artist(pencil and ink are my poison, although digital editing has become an addiction of mine recently), and I'm a fan of the fable games...Also i would like to add that i have regretfully not been able to play Fable2 yet because i spend my money board-wares instead of gaming consoles.
Veilen Dank,
Johan

hello johan. yes, most of us have become quit welcoming since most of the members were infected with herpes. we really don't see any point in bickering considering not many people would accept us for fear of contracting the STD. any member who's willing to sacrifice the sterility of their genitals to get along with us is more than welcome.
so, welcome.

Ich bin nicht von Deutschland (das ist warum du diese, ehh, tekst nicht gut kan lesen), aber ich habe es in Schule ge-uhm, habt...? Oh well, I was good at it, but then forgot it, because I don't have it anymore. (Dutch person over here).

Hello and welcome, nonetheless! ^_^

*Also, I'm better at reading it, than writing or speaking it. I have a good accent in many languages I speak, though. :P

Yo, Johan. Nice to meet you. I like your name, reminds me of Johan Hegg, the awesome vocalist of Amon Amarth , a death metal (and referred to as "viking metal", too) band.

It's not herpes...

Welcome anyway.

Uh... I have a German great-grandmother. Does that count? No hablo en Aleman. Hablo un poco espanol, pero no muy bien. I can't emphasize that last bit enough. Me and Spanish are like two people locked in neighboring prison cells and communicating solely via vibrating bricks with broken sex toys.

si puede usar los accentos tu texto ser mas facil para leer, pero con los teclados estadounidenses hay muy dificil para usarlos. otro de esta, no fue ningunas errores con su espanol (o castellano si vive en espana).

the rules require i include a translation.

if you could use the accents your text would be easier to read, but with american keyboards it is very difficult to use them. other than that, there weren't any errors with your spanish (or castellano if you live in spain).

Re: Fresh air...hmm nice

Without using your translation, something about it being easier to read what I typed if I put in the accents... but lots of United Statesians have trouble with that. Aside from that, there's nothing wrong with your (that is, my) Spanish. (Or Castillian if you're from Spain.)

Or at least that's a general translation, no? But that kinda exhausted my supply of Spanish. My vocabulary is limited, but decent within those extreme limitations. My grammar, on the other hand, is abominable whenever I try to type or say anything.

Also, I can't remember the difference between ser and estar to save my life.

EDIT: Eh, I was close enough. No idea if Tyrant's corrections, which I now see, are actually correct. Well, except for the accents. Pretty sure those are right.

long story long he changed my conjurgation of ser (meaning "to be") to future tense so that "is" becomes "would be". he also added "nonetheless" to my sentence concerning american keyboards, changed my "problems" to "problem" which, unlike the others, was a personal preference and not a grammatical error. also, he added the accents i'd been too lazy to look up.

+rep tyrant.

Re: Fresh air...hmm nice

Damn tenses. They are the bane of my existence. I wonder how [scrolls down to check name] Johan feels that we took over his intro thread to discuss Spanish grammar?
