The Points are Non Exsistent things that make you feel good once you achieve them.. I have nothing against or wrong with them I LIKE THEM! But they are just nothingness haha

Well theres rumours that they could start to unlock new avatar items on the new NXE. Not the points themselves but certain achievements. I just like the fact they are there and its nice hearing the achievement noise pop up while doing something. :lol:

I play for fun, but if an achievement comes along, i'll take it. fable 2 was just too easy to get them all, so i went for it. other games, i don't bother too much about it, but it's always nice to get the achievements. if i'd played half as many games as everyone else, i'm sure i would have many more though. i've had my 360 sine they first came out, but only just cracked 6000gp while playing fable 2

I can proudly say that I'm blissfully unaware of the gamerpoints system and all the assorted jumble of bullcrap that comes with. I put a game in. I play. Meh. Life goes on.

But achievements are a way of keeping track of how good you are at a game! Without it, it proves nothing. Well, unless you play online I guess it is useless. Or if you are comparing to your friends.

Yeah and i was an avid PC gamer but found myself getting the 360 version of lots of games. To begin with it was because more friends played 360 online but after a while i quite liked the challenge of achievements.
